I am 25 years old living in the city of Charlotte, NC. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Chemical Engineering. I am formerly a Digital Marketing Sales Executive, the furthest thing possible from engineering that’s not an art.
In August 2015, I decided embark on a journey pursuing my passions of fitness, dance, and community involvement. I quit my corporate draining job to get back to doing what I love to do which is dancing and impacting lives of people from the health aspect. I am currently a Masters Candidate of Exercise Science with a concentration on Performance Enhancement, Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation. (A mouthful and a half lol) My goal is to learn everything I possibly can to help educate the community of professionals and enthusiast on ways to thrive living a healthy active lifestyle. My reach on health and fitness in the Charlotte community begins with SWEAT Cycle Studios where I am the head instructor.
I have always had a love for educating children in dance since I was about 12 years old and began teaching at 15 in my hometown dance studio. After leaving my desk job, I found a new studio to call home here in Charlotte, Charlotte Performing Arts Academy where I am dance teacher, choreographer, and tumbling & conditioning coach. I am super blessed to work with an awesome group of kids on a day to day basis and am always open to guest teaching at studios across the country.
